CPI is actively involved in class leading electronic design and can offer this as an extra service. Boasting the latest in ECAD CPI ensures products are designed and delivered to the exact requirements specified. CPI services include a full procurement function which enables customers to benefit from a total outsourcing service. This proves cost effective and resolves all the logistic problems associated with in house manufacture.
Any product goes through many stages of development and CPI cater and advise, if required on prototype and pre-production build programme's. During which CPI advise on best practice and process theology which avoids costly rework when products go into full production.
Training
Training is paramount and CPI ensure all our staff have the necessary skills and are trained accordingly. Housed in a purpose built 8,000 sq ft building, the manufacturing centre caters for both conventional and surface mount PCB's and offers the latest in intelligent production equipment. All this is complemented with computerised stock control systems and the latest in ERP/MRP software. The centre also has dedicated areas for cell based manufacturing, testing, cable preparation, component pre-forming etc.
There are strict procedures in place for the RoHS 2002/95/EC directive to ensure compliance and CPI is now a pioneering member of the Envirotronix programme, run by Electronics Yorkshire. This programme allows CPI to demonstrate its responsible attitude towards manufacturing processes in the electronics industry.
