Operating from the new purpose built 8,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, the main production area is impressive. It incorporates anti-static benching, chairs and flooring throughout, to create a static safe manufacturing environment.
CPI is fully aware of the damage ESD can cause to sensitive devices and consequently the facility has been designed to meet the latest CIE 613400-5-1-ESD guidelines. Humidity and temperature are monitored throughout the whole manufacturing process.
CPI have a range of Blakell LS920 light guided semi-automatic through hole insertion/cut and clinch work stations to ensure repeatable accurate assembly, low set-up times/costs and increased quality.
CPI has invested in a new WS330 Lead free wave soldering system to offer the very latest in lead free process control. This machine incorporates dual wave technology capable of soldering both through-hole an SM technologies. The machine also incorporates a two stage forced air convection preheat and spray fluxing system. This enables optimum process parameters to be achieved even on the most complex and densely populated PCB's.
